Garage Magazine #21 is shipping to bookstores across the country as we speak. It’s our annual Chicks Rule Special Edition, and it not only rules, it’s kickin’ ass and takin’ names. We can’t wait for this one to hit the streets. We don’t want to tip our hand too much, but we had so many great candidates for badass chicks that we couldn’t narrow it down, so we packed in 2 extra full length features! So you might say this issue has some junk in the trunk with a meaty 128 pages.
Here’s a few production stills from our cover shoot. We used a super rare 1925 Harley-Davidson 3 bar hillclimber in full tilt hillclimb mode. And manhandling this raging beast was Bridget Blonde, all decked out in vintage 20’s hillclimb attire. Jesse stepped in for a little show and tell: he showed us how to sit on the bike and he told us if we put the slightest scratch on the thing we’d be getting a pink slip as a parting gift. Automotive and lifestyle photographer, Kevin Necessary, was working his voodoo behind the camera and his handy all-purpose helper, Jim, was on the uber-important fan duty.
Garage Magazine hits the stands February 16th. The new, improved, and slightly greasier Garage Magazine Website launches that day too. Make sure you keep an eye out for both! We’ll post some more teaser photos here in the next few days. Stay tuned.
