random friday

not so random, random

So I got to thinking…something made you , the faithful WEST COAST CHOPPERS blog reader click on this today and check out our daily post. Witch led me to wonder..what does WEST COAST CHOPPERS mean to you? What is it about WEST COAST CHOPPERS that connects with you? Maybe you should head over to the “Talk it Out” section of our RANT message board and be heard! I can, however, tell you what WEST COAST CHOPPERS means to me.

WEST COAST CHOPPERS is a place where anything is possible. You can think of a bitchin new motorcycle part, sketch it on a napkin and by the end of the day have it in your hand.We can make anything…ANYTHING. It is a place where a group of punk rock misfits can break a land speed record. A place where you can get hired as a driver and with skill and hard work end up running the place. It’s where the people you work with become your family, and life long friends. It’s where “Made in the USA” is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life. It is where the finest custom motorcycles in the entire world originate.WEST COAST CHOPPERS is a place , in the ghetto of Long Beach, where Jesse James and his crew changed the world…and continue to do so every day.

What WCC means to me? I think its about generation x’rs making their mark in our industry. Bringing new talent, new ideas, futher developing the face of what once was. Making it interesting to all generations to wanna build on. And never allowing it to never go out of style. To all the industry leaders of past, present and future… Thanks.. WCC, Thanks.. and Jesse, Thanks.. .. now if I can only find time to finish my cfl..

WCC means that atleast some of us actually live out our dream of working on bikes everyday. Even better, Jess and most of the WCC guys are local home-grown 100% LA/OC/IE scooter-tramps. I ride HD but will have a diablo when I sell my kidney on the blackmarket I assure you. I proudly support WCC mostly because i kinda feel like it supports and represents me…down to the dickies and pendleton. Vaya con Dios Jay. Ride til your bones wither. – El Hooligan Jorge

The world needs more institutions like WCC. Kids need to get out from in front of their tv’s and computers and build something!!! When I grew up here in Canada, you couldn’t get me to go inside for anything whether me and my friends were building the biggest ramp you ever saw to jump our bikes off or some othere stupid shit we used to do! Kids should be locked out of their houses from 8 am till they’ve acomplished something productive, whatever that might be. Choppers for Life!!!!!
