OUR GIRL CAME HOME TODAY! (Feb 17, 2010)
The search is over! We got a call from a gal by the name of Rosaura in Los Angeles today saying she had Cinny. Since we have had quite a few false alarms, we were cautiously optimistic. She said she’d bring Cinnabun to us, and everyone at the shop was really anxious for her to get here to see if it was, in fact, Cinny. The car pulls in, the door flings open, and out pops Cinnabun! It’s been just over 3 weeks since we last saw her, and were starting to wonder if we’d ever get her back…and there she was.
She’s in good shape…maybe a few pounds thinner than when she left. But super happy to be home. We’re taking her to the vet to get her all checked out and chipped, and GPS’d, and live-tracked by Google Earth…the works. We don’t want to lose this little gal again!!!
Thanks to everyone who sent us emails, calls, and well wishes over the past few weeks, and a BIG thanks to Rosaura in Los Angeles who found her and brought her back.West Coast thanks you all, and a special thanks from Mr.T who is happy to have his little buddy back. Let the barking, wrastlin’, and bone chasing begin!

We Just baked a new batch of mid and forward controls. Mmmmmm….you can almost smell the badass-ness from the other side of the computer, can’t you?
What’s so special about these controls? Why will your life and bike not be complete without them? Well, let’s start here: They’re handmade. They’re not stamped out of some big machine like they’re being extruded from a Play-doh pumper. They’re individually cut and assembled which keeps quality high and reduces the chance of equipment failure. They’re coated with a military-grade flat black finish that is just this side of indestructible. It’s one of the most wear-resistant finishes in the industry. The foot peg has serrated bear trap edges to reduce slipping, not to mention reduce the chances you’ll like a dork.

More News from Austin!
Another project going on at the Austin Speed Shop is this 60 Cadillac that just got a fresh Ice Blue paint job and a few mild body mods. Notice the shaved side trim, the reshaped rear end, the customized dash panel, and the custom painted steering wheel. We put on an air-suspension and this Cadillac looks a mile long. Hand built Cadillac wire wheels and some fresh white-wall tries will be going on soon. The motor has been rebuilt, the chrome has been re plated, the stainless is being polished, and Craig is stitching the interior in leather. We will keep you posted as this Cadillac is reassembled. Check it out:

TIME TO SPRUCE UP YOUR WARDROBE WITH SOME CLOTHES THAT WORK HARD, AND LOOK GOOD DOING IT.
Jesse James Industrial Workwear has some new items that just hit the stores for Spring. Check out our new performance T’s. They’re made out of an advanced moisture-wicking fabric that helps keep you cool and dry while you work. They’ve got some cool vintage graphics on the back and a pocket on the front to keep your stuff.
Also new in stores are the Carpenter Work Shorts. They’re made of the same durable twill fabric as our full-length Carpenter Work Pant. They feature triple needle stitching, oversized hardware, oversized back pockets, hammer loop, cell pocket, and extra wide belt loops that are less prone to ripping out, than typical work pants. And for those of you out there that think Dickies® have the best industry shirts and pants going…think again. Give our industry shirts, pants, and jackets a try. You’ll be surprised how much better the weight, finish, and details are on our very own 5/TENS® Industry Work Shirts and Pants. Really surprised. New for Spring is our short sleeved version of our 5/TENS®. Just as durable as the long sleeved version, but perfect for work in warmer weather.
All Jesse James Industrial Workwear is available at select Walmart stores, and online at Walmart.com.

THE TWO-WHEELED VARIETY
West Coast Choppers is famous for a few things: Building the best custom motorcycles on the planet (bar none), loving our shop dogs, and pissing people off…not necesarily in that order of course. Here’s one bike that celebrates all three of those virtues. The Cisco and Noodles Tribute Bike was built to honor a couple of the shop’s departed friends, who are truly missed. Cisco was our ambassador of good will. He greeted everyone that came to the shop–tail waggin’. There wasn’t a scratch or a treat he would turn down. Noodles, on the other hand, was a little tougher to win over. But once you did, she was a big marshmallow. More of a butt wiggler than a tail wagger, always ready with big sloppy kisses.
Jesse decided to make a bike to honor them since they were such a big part of the family at West Coast. So he designed this at the end of 2009. It finally got all the finishing touches put on, and it’s a show stopper. A true West Coast Choppers custom to the core. Badass from the front tire to the back, and a fitting tribute to our 2 friends that are no longer with us.
It’s got a whole laundry list of West Coast goodness built in. Hand crafted details you don’t find rolling out of other shops. Old school craftsmanship, and unmatched style. It’s not so much a motorcycle as it is a rolling piece of art. So, isn’t it about time you found something worth building a West Coast Chopper for…like maybe yourself? Check out the pix, and notice the details. Give us a call to help you build your dream bike today.
