It IS a fabulous painting to honor an American Icon, the Flatie..from Harley Davidson. She is my bike and Darcy captured the moment I found her on the side of a barn in Oregon. The Crow Spirit runs like a dream. How cool to see her here and to honor Darcy’s work. Vintage bikes are not about skulls and death, they are alive and kicking, literally, and a piece of America’s best. Too bad you can’t HEAR her. Thanks Darcy, you continue to make her famous and I hope she can do the same for you. If you have a bike you love, commission Darcy to paint it.

Being an artist is tough enuf. To draw, to expose yourself to the public is even tougher. The act of the creating an image from your brain, to hand & then to your canvas, or paper is a brave and courageous one. ALL ARTISTs are artists when they just do it! Most dont even start. Art comes in all kinds of forms, shapes and images., the viewing public knows what they love. & when you love a piece it does bring out emotions.

I also have a great framer in Hemet, Alfredo. if ever you need one, he has done my framing for years and a great job of it… Sorry, so late getting back, had an art show this past wkend in Idyllwild.
