Straight from Austin Speed Shop
The 1936 Ford is by far one of Henry Ford’s best-designed cars. It’s sleek deco lines make for a perfect custom yet with a change of stance its tough enough to be a Hot Rod. It’s really the best of both worlds! In my opinion its perfect either direction you go.
This 3 window (my favorite style of 36 by far) was just bought by Billy Powell, and as cool as it is we here at Austin Speed Shop are going to get to do some really neat modifications like lowering it, new upholstery and next year it will get a few inches off the top. Billy is a great guy and we really look forward to working on this 36 and of course will be keeping everyone updated on the progress…

Beautiful work. Lose the godfather tires. When that car was brand new on a lot in ‘36, it didn’t have whitewalls. An oddball year. Continental kits are as bad as ragtops. What do you do with them? Elliot Ness.
