the final chapter
After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears the crew over here at West Coast Choppers finished the final touches on this DOMINATOR frame .The frame number has been stamped, the oil bag polished, and all the parts are ready and accounted for. This frame is headed over to our friend Barry’s shop, Top Shelf Customs. I’m sure they have big plans for our DOMINATOR frame, just look at how happy Barry is to get his frame!. Barry will be sending us pictures of his progress, so we will keep you updated on the future of the “WEST COAST DOMINATION” frame.
When you are ready for us to start YOUR frame, give the PARTS DEPARTMENT a call

west coast choppers stuff for sale
We have been doing some shop cleaning around here, selling a lot of stuff on our eBay account (CLICK HERE ) . Well now we are starting to get to the really neat stuff! These two off road machines will be listed this week . The first is this Banshee we did the full WEST COAST CHOPPERS treatment on. It’s so cool , they even made a toy out of it! We also have this sweet Honda..we made this for Metal Mulishia member “Twitch” as his back up bike..it’s brand new! NOT hitting eBay is this sweet CFL. We recently took this one back as a trade in on a customers next build, so if you want a real shop built CFL without the wait, call Bill in the bike department asap, fool!

tons o bikes
We get people stopping by on bikes all the time..I mean, WEST COAST CHOPPERS is the worlds best custom motorcycle shop, so that’s to be expected. But we don’t usually get this many bikes at once! Our friends from the IRON BROTHERHOOD were having their national meet in sunny so cal and decided to stop by, have a bite at CISCO BURGER and check out the latest from WEST COAST CHOPPERS. We managed to get a few shots of the impromptu bike show ( check out that SICK V-ROD!)..Thanks for visiting, guys!

the saga continues
Last time we checked in on our DOMINATOR frame, Junior was just pulling it out of the frame jig. Once the frame comes out of the jig, a few table top fixtures are installed to keep everything in line while he welds those pesky hard to reach areas. After all the finish welding is done, he dresses a few of the welds in the drop out area, then It’s on to making the oil tank. The main pieces of the tank are cut on our TRUMPH laser machine. Then Junior assembles them all to make the oil tank..hand made in the LBC!

home built cfl bike check
Shane has been coming around the shop forever slowly gathering parts for his CFL build. I mean…FOREVER… so imagine our surprise when he finally rolled up on the sweet bike you see here! It just goes to show you what patience and many trips to the WEST COAST CHOPPERS PARTS DEPARTMENT ( did I mention we are having a FATHERS DAY SALE? yes..I just did) will get you.Fun fact, Shane has the only set of shop built SS PIPES with internal baffles..I think they are actually louder with baffles. Take it away, Shane!
WCC: So how did you end up getting hooked up with West Coast Choppers?
Shane: I had wanted a bike that had classic lines and attitude. Something that won’t go out of style in a year or two or ten. The CFL frame was the only obvious choice and best place to start. WCC had figured out the hard stuff so just about everything else fell into place. I have to say a big thanks to West Coast Choppers, Jay and Anthony for their help, and to my wife for giving me the space to mess around with my projects!
WCC: What do you like best about your CFL?
Shane: For a bike that was built outside the shop, I obviously borrowed many of the styling cues from other shop built CFL’s. You know the saying – Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…
WCC: What other bikes do you have?
Shane: I have a 1992 FXR that handles awesome and soaks up the bumps and a 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 for the beach with my wife on the weekends, although that is now nearly impossible with our newborn taking up so much time. Thinking of building a Dominator or something with some rear suspension next… maybe…
