a whole new kind of mini bike.
These die cast replica West Coast Chopper bikes are the two wheeled ticket to hours of fun. Put a little attitude into your kid’s play dates. Let him show up with these and show those kids with the beleaguered little Hot Wheels with the hoods and doors falling off who’s boss. There’ll be none of that David Hasselhoff replica Knight Rider crap going on at your house. Nope. So, even if your kid isn’t old enough to kick a little ass, give him toys that says he could if he wanted…The West Coast Choppers die cast choppers are currently available in Walmart and Target stores. Get them while supplies last.

Until now that is. Check out the mom and pop boutique distiller that we helped put on the map.
3 Amigos Tequila is a about as smooth and drinkable a tequila as you’re going to find. One sip of this and you’ll be like “Patron who?” No. Really. We ran across their company while searching for cool finds for our Garage Magazine Kick the Tires review section. They sent us a bottle, and after much ummmmm “taste testing” by our internal staff of experts, found it to be everything the critics say it is. One reviewer described it like this, “On the tip of the tongue, it begins buttery and turns to a minty agave. Body: A very, very balanced agave body. Finish: No alcohol burn at all, with a very spicy finish.” Or in the words of Red, our resident tequila slinger and connoisseur , “Dammit to hell, that’s good! I’m getting some for this weekend!” The brand gets rave reviews and has a laundry list of awards under its belt. They practice organic farming, so there is no pesticide residues affecting taste, so it’s good tasting and good for you.
After the magazine was in circulation a few weeks, we started getting bottles of tequila left on our doorstep. Scratch that…cases of tequila. Turns out the folks at 3 Amigos wanted to thank us for the review, because after the magazine came out, their sales almost doubled. So we’re happy we could play a part in getting these guys a little exposure. We were really impressed by the taste, quality, and their craftsmanship approach they take when creating their product. Check out the whole story on the 3 Amigos site to see how they do what they do so well. And hopefully they’ll get a few more folks trying the stuff, and we’ll keep getting our weekly allowance of that golden nectar.

Your all access pass to go behind the scenes and have a look before it hits the stands.
Garage Magazine #21 is shipping to bookstores across the country as we speak. It’s our annual Chicks Rule Special Edition, and it not only rules, it’s kickin’ ass and takin’ names. We can’t wait for this one to hit the streets. We don’t want to tip our hand too much, but we had so many great candidates for badass chicks that we couldn’t narrow it down, so we packed in 2 extra full length features! So you might say this issue has some junk in the trunk with a meaty 128 pages.
Here’s a few production stills from our cover shoot. We used a super rare 1925 Harley-Davidson 3 bar hillclimber in full tilt hillclimb mode. And manhandling this raging beast was Bridget Blonde, all decked out in vintage 20’s hillclimb attire. Jesse stepped in for a little show and tell: he showed us how to sit on the bike and he told us if we put the slightest scratch on the thing we’d be getting a pink slip as a parting gift. Automotive and lifestyle photographer, Kevin Necessary, was working his voodoo behind the camera and his handy all-purpose helper, Jim, was on the uber-important fan duty.
Garage Magazine hits the stands February 16th. The new, improved, and slightly greasier Garage Magazine Website launches that day too. Make sure you keep an eye out for both! We’ll post some more teaser photos here in the next few days. Stay tuned.
