So, here’s the deal, we went around the whole shop and asked everyone what their goals were for the coming year…and over the next few days we’ll be posting those resolutions for 2010 for our whole WCC crew. Even the big guy himself will let ya know what he’s going to be working on in the new year. Yeah, I know, we thought he was perfect just the way he is too!
BAILEY: SALES
RESOLUTION | To get thrown into a mexican jail for one night due to fist fighting over a sombrero.

[ ] Get fatter. Most people’s New Year’s resolution is to diet and get skinny. Perfect time for me to get fatter. There will be more food for me.
[ ] Spend more time witih my loved ones. I have really not been to the strip clubs enough this year and the girls are feeling neglected.
[ ] Pimp out my ‘89 Cadillac Seville, not that it’s not pimp already.

It’s official, Cisco has the best hot wings in Long Beach. If you haven’t tried them yet, all we can say is ‘Where the heck you been?’ Every Wednesday Cisco Burger serves up its new menu item that keeps packing them in. The line starts early, the phone rings non stop for deliveries, and Jesse comes in to order…sometimes twice! And obviously the word keeps spreading, ‘cuz our wing order keeps going up. If you’re looking for something hot and spicy to get you over Hump Day…give our wings a fling.

For the faithful, the curious, the hot rod purist, or for the rest of us who are waiting time at work, surfing the web on the boss’s dime…here are a handful of more vintage shots of the ‘34 PBC courtesy of our friends at the NHRA Museum in Pomona, California. The Coupe will be on display in the museum until May 2010, so swing by and see it in the flesh as well as the other great exhibits on display. This month don’t miss the Museum’s newest photographic exhibit featuring award winning photos, features, and race coverage from 50 years of National Dragster Magazine.

AND A FLAT BLACK NEW YEAR!
Ted Puryear had one request on his Christmas wish list when he came in to order his bike: he wanted something raw and tough looking that would stand out. Well, actually that’s three requests, but being that it’s Christmas and all, we let him have it. What he ended up with is an industrial strength West Coast Chopper. The sheet metal was cleared with a flat clear coat and most all the aluminum was brushed instead of polished, resulting in one no nonsense, kickass, matt black bike. Ted musta’ been a very, very good boy this year.
The bike is loaded with WCC signature components: Lawless wheels, JJ billet mid controls, our billet triple tree-risers, mirror, 113 inch S&S motor, handmade seat, and a Baker 6-speed right side drive transmission. The “Don’t fuck with me” attitude the bike gives off was thrown in free of charge.
We don’t care what you think— we’re all about good, clean fun.
The WCC and Cisco crew brought their best bowling skills out to the holiday party. A prize for the highest game, pizza, beer, and gift exchange. Try to beat that kitsch!
